ParticipantHi – my Diplomat ADP 8242 will not auto power off after having completed a cycle. The dishes are cleaned, the water drains and the filters are clean.
However, the machine continues to whirr away all night whereas usually the program would finish within 90 mins.
Will a reset solve this or should I call out an engineer?

You could try the reset procedure, if that fails then I would suggest an engineer to be honest. Repairs@ should provide one 🙂
The reset procedure can be found by doing a forum search for “diplomat and reset”

Thanks Dave – have tried the Reset routine but just can’t get the 2 outer lights to illuminate…is there anything I should know/do different?
Thanks

I think there may be an underlying cause in that case, engineer time to be honest voz 😉

Don’t panic – Dave’s got a little list…….
Bristol is a little hole in our coverage at the moment.

Hi – having probs with my email.
I live in the BS16 area of Bristol. The two engineers I’ve tried to contact are Concept Service Ltd and Safe & Sound.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,

If you’re having problems with your email that may be the reason why, both companies may have sent one and are waiting for a reply.
Concept Service are on 0870 209 0040
Safe and Sound are on 0117 939 5885
Hope this helps 😀
