    Hi,
    I’ve got an Elba PX906 cooker that cuts out after about 45 mins on the fan oven setting (seems to be ok on the convection oven setting), even though the temperature is only set to about 180. The whole cooker cuts out for about 20 minutes (like there is no power to any of it at all!) and then comes back on again.
    Anyone got any idea what’s up with it and is it something I can fix or need to call out an engineer (and how much it would cost?)

    Its overheating and cutting out on the safety stat by the sounds of it indicating a thermostat fault. Roughly, you’d be looking to pay an engineer £60-90 to repair depending on local charges and the price of the stat.

    Try Repairs@ on the main menu to the left to find a repairer.
