I’ve got this customer who I got on really well with, she’s been in the white goods retail trade and recently been made redundent. She has this Bosch washing machine with a faulty conditioner valve, which is a double valve (P/N 086311) and I think is unique to bosch when I look at it. The valve has a suggested retail price of £53.29 and costs me £39. What a joke for a water valve. I really dont want this job to be so expencive. Any ideas please? The solenoid is retained by screws so maybe that is an option……………?

Whiskey 🙂 for either 086311/265772 my price from Connect is £10:50+vat and Masterpart do a pattern part BS71102 at £10:99 +vat.

    Hope that helps 😀

I fitted a Hotpoint double valve to one of these couple years back (friend’s machine). Only had to drill a hole or two to accept fixing screws.
Take restrictors out of old valve and fit to new. Plus change terminals for Lucar connectors.

Edit: Also has advantage of only needing to replace coil if there’s a next time.
