Participantcan any body help with this problem,
The fridge circulation fan does not appear to be running. Fridge side only controls to between 9 deg and 12 deg.

Possibly the motor itself, have you removed it to check for wear ?

this one is up on a well known auction site and the problems are as stated,happened after a thunderstorm,,could pc board need replacing?

Yep, possibly damaged by an electrical storm but I would check other possibilities before condemning the PCB as it won’t be a cheap component 😉
If I were you I would ask an engineer to come and check it over for you and make a proper diagnosis, see the link below in my signature 🙂

just checked that found it from 699 to over 800,,it has a day to run,may be worth getting then claim of the house insurance?(not that i would do that 😉 )

Fraudulent insurance claims for appliance breakdowns are illegal.
Just a reminder, and UK Whitegoods does not under any circumstances condone such actions.

thanks for that,,see what happens then…
reading the rest of the forum it would seem to be a common problem with this model,,or could that be just a lack of service ?…
