ParticipantBeen to look at one of these Indeshit washer dryers, no power at all, checked at cable entry onto suppresser & there is 230v’s. No leds light up no faults shown, this is the machine with the control board on the bottom on LHS with a socket for putting a tester in i presume.
An architect specified these machines in flats for mentally handicapped people to use, i’ve had major problems getting them set, the start sequence is strange, there are two buttons that look very similar, one is on/off & other is start, people who designed this want a good k####ng.
Funny thing when i looked at model num’ it seemed very apt, looks like summit that came outta LIDL..

Checked interlock? Checked on/off switch?
Sorry to state obvious but you only mention suppressor.

Open circuit motor can give you the fault of no lights. The only thing the machine will do is lock the door so it appears to be dead 😕
Just remebered another strange one on one of these. Had one with one of the option buttons stuck in and when you switch on the machine appears to be dead. Customer pointed the jammed button out but thought I would leave it until I sorted out the main problem of dead machine. Replaced module, eprom and door lock with no success and while scratching my head I flicked the stuck button out from inside. Everything lit up! 😳

Going back again tomorrow, door didn’t lock, the door lock led should flash to tell you to lock the door.
Got another with different problem, staff say it seems to fill as its spinning & pumping out at end & when machine is finished they can see water level just at holes in drum, i explained that if it was in dryer mode it would take in water to aid condensing but they said it happens on wash programmes ??

Ah, before you said no leds light up but if the one for the door flashes it might be detecting a fault and shutting down. Might even just be motor brushes although I would expect the door to still lock in such cases.

Just to clarify,, no leds light up on machine, i thought that the door locked led should flash when you push the on/off button at least??
nothing happens, no life at all…

WIDL error codes are now in the “known error code” post if it helps Seamy:

If this(first mentioned)machine has an on/off switch that would be the first thing that I would check especially that we now know that the door lock is not coming on. Always try the obvious first especially when it’s the most easily accessible!

Probably you’ll find that the members of staff who actually use it are absent when you arrive. Reckon you should treat this kind of fault report with scepticism. Probably just a blocked filter. 😉
