ParticipantMy dishwasher has stopped working.
I first found that the dishwasher hadn’t drained. After playing around a little it spat all the water out all over the floor. (seemed like an air lock)
I have had it in pieces and cannot find any reset button.
I have the following unknown error codes.
I start the dishwasher and all sounds ok. (pump working, fills up with water etc, but the dishwasher seems to get to a point and drain.
The error code I get is
1,2,3 all flashing. 4 nothing. 5 on.
After the dishwasher has tried to work 4 and 5 flash.
When i pulled it apart the tray at the bottom was full of water. I drained this out and the flood switch thingy released and I thought i fixed it. But the same thing happens.
Anyone had this problem or know what the error codes mean?
All looks ok inside, no sign of any burnt out electrical components or no split hoses etc. I am sure it just needs resetting but can’t find the button.
Please help me!!!!

There is no reset as such…… I suspect your code indicates that the flood protection has been activated and shut down the programme accordingly. If there is no obvious leak it will almost certainly be the water level control playing up. This works on air displacement into a diaphragm switch, so that is the place to start checking – check for skinny hoses and see where they start and finish.
Power off, of course.

Ok I will have a look.
I suppose what your saying is that the one of the small hoses should contain air to control the float level.
This may be filled with water which is causing the problem??

Your control board has ‘tripped’ and needs to be reset.Do a search for Diplomat or Smeg AND reset in these forums and you should find what you need to know

Thanks. I followed the reset procedure and it is now working fine (so far).
I would have been gutted if i paid for an engineer to come and reset.
Thanks for your help.
