ParticipantHi
Just found this useful site and hope that you can help me.
I have a Cookers Appliances Oven & Grill as per subject title.
The serial numbers inside the oven are:
Mod. 05-605403/1 Typ B15E
SNr. 02 11 10079 -O846CK131 230…240V ~50Hz 4.170kW maxAround 10 months ago the lcd timer/clock stopped working with the timer alarm going off at regular intervals. The oven and grill still worked so we just turned the power off at the wall when we didn’t need the oven as the house builders/oven installers seemed unable to help with the problem (apparently it was just out of warranty).
Recently however, the oven has stopped working – I assume the heater element needs replacing as the oven fan still operates. Also, the oven bulb failed a few months ago, but I have been unable to source a replacement (15w small edison screw) bulb which is small enought to fit and allow the glass bulb cover to be replaced (the oven bulbs in B&Q, etc are just too big).I would be grateful if you would advise primarily on a replacement for the heater element but also, if possible, on a bulb replacement and an lcd timer/clock unit.
Thanks in advance.November 29, 2005 at 9:37 am #156067Dave_Conway

Hi,
The lamp is here
And the element here
I’ll make sure it’s one of the “tiny” ones (lamp).
The timer is part number 78X2893 at £69 inc VAT which I can get for you (special order), drop me an email if you would like that to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 🙂

Thanks for your prompt reply, you’re a life saver (well a money saver, at least 😆 ); we’ve been let down a few times now by people who were supposed to be coming to have a look/fix the oven. I’ve ordered the bulb and element now.
Is the timer/clock easy to fit? Does it involve any soldering etc?
If it’s relatively easy to fit, I’ll email you about the order. Thanks for your help.

If it’s relatively easy to fit, I’ll email you about the order. Not too bad really if you’re electrically/mechanically competent. You’ll probably be able to tell when replacing the element, but it doesn’t involve soldering 🙂
Please remember to disconnect from the power when working on the oven :zap:
