    AEG 1271 sensortronic (Zanussi made) washer drier. Bit of a strange fault. Fills with water then the countdown LED reverts to 1 min left and machine stops. I think fault codes are usually E10 for example, so I don’t know what’s what here. When I try and pump or spin the water out, it reverts straight to ‘1’ after the door has locked. Thanks.

    Display will only show faults which the customer can do something about ie. fill, drain, door lock. The only exception is E90 for an electronics fault. All of the other codes are hidden and can only be seen if you go into the diagnostic system. Check on TDS for entry to the diagnostic system. 🙂

    Belated thanks for your response Flyman.
    I’m still stuck ‘cos I’ve only got ’02 edition of TDS and an incomplete set at that…. Does anyone know how to access the diagnostics on AEG 1271 sensortronic W/D to work out what fault code ‘1’ is? Simtoms.
