Went to a Miele T560C condenser dryer where the door opens by itself during the drying cycle. The door shuts securely and you can’t pull it open. You can hear the solenoid release the door when it happens.
I thought it may be condensation on the switch assy or the control board as there is quite a bit on the front panel when it runs, but alas, they were nice and dry.
Has anyone come across this before?
dryer is entering an overheat situation if the door opens on its own.
check the heater contactor , as they have a tendancy to stick and allow the elements to stay on all the time. check also the duct isn’t restricted if the contactor is ok.
