I have a Blomberg 1301ABB washer, which has started to be extremely noisy during the spin cycles. If I spin the drum slowly by hand no noise but if I spin it faster I get a slight noise.
I suspect a bearing fault but as it is only around 3 years old I am surprised it hasn’t lasted this long. I have been on the comet spares site and there are front and rear bearings and a bearing seal so I am confused as to what to buy.
Can anyone help with the diagnosis of the fault and is the replacement of a bearing a specialist operation? I am quite handy as I was an electrician before progressing onto building services design so should be able to do the job as long as special tools are not needed.
I am attempting to judge weather a repair is viable or if a new washer is the best option.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You will need to buy all three to do the job properly. I would suggest contacting spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk as they will almost certainly be able to supply at a more favourable price.

We cannot tell you exactly how to do the job, sufficed to say that you need a steel bar and a big hammer.

If you are not confident, check the link in my signature.

Also remove belt to prove motor bearings/drum bearing fault. Unplug power before checking :zap: .
