F7. Flow meter failure. Flow meter defect. Water inlet valve defect or water inlet hose blocked.

The flow meter is inside the left hand metering tank, check the connections etc as that is the usual cause 🙂

Is a flow meter problem for sure, I have a contract with CDA for their U/G work and have found myself fitting many pressure switches for simular faults. I had one the other day with a not emptying fault code, but it was emptying ok, changed the pressure switch and it’s now fine. These things also blog up with cr*p and grease etc. causing faults.
The switch is located R/H of the sump next to the NTC and has a locking clip on it, release the locking clip and turn it 1/4 turn and pull it out, take care not to get the connector wet as this will upset the module. It might not be this but I would check it if water inlet and valve are ok and drain hose isn’t causing syphoning.

Don’t confuse the flow meter with the diaphragm switch. The flow meter doesn’t block up with cr4p as it is in the metering tank and measures clean water.
F7 can be caused by a very slow fill but is usually the contacts on either the flow meter or module. If the flow meter is defective it is integral to the metering tank but you can just fit the little card with the reed switch on if you have one(not available separately 🙁 )
