I have a 6 year old Hoover HM22C-001 which has recently started to run very cold, irrespective of thermostat dial setting, resulting in food being frozen in the fridge compartment. Am I right in thinking this unit has an electronic circuit board controlling the temperature? Are spares available? Would it be an economic repair to get done? Can I do it myself (I have an electronics training).

    Hi 🙂
There is no electronic module on this machine just a normal thermostat
they retail about £20-£25 including the vat
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE ❗ ❗

Yup, straightforward capillary thermostat – p/no 97042154. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for pricing and delivery.
