Hi,
This machine has a Danfos compressor. The comp is humming. I intend to try a relay but need to know if I can get the correct one from Connections. It seems to have a capacitor connected also. Am I correct? And could this also stop it from starting. I appreciate that the comp could be just u/s.
Your insight here would be appreciated.

its rare for a danfoss start relay to pack up without showing severe signs of a burnout and a terrible smell, the capacitor can be a run or start capacitor depending on the type of compressor fitted, look at the uf value if its low 8-12uf itas a run type , if its 60-80uf its a start capacitor, the relay is easy to obtain.hope that helps.
