My 5 year old Candy Activa 129 AC won’t spin – it seems reluctant to turn at all, in fact, and just growls at me (ok – more of a whirring noise). There is no water in the drum, but the clothes are sopping wet.
I really need ideas for parts and instructions for DIY – can anyone help?

The whirring noise is the pump running I think, basically you have no drum rotation.
It could be the brushes have worn, the motor failed or possibly the control module.
Power off if checking yourself please :zap:
If you’re unsure, check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂
