    I am renting in a flat with a Creda Excel 1200.

    For some reason it always stops twice during the Rinse portion of the cycle. It just requires a slight nudge of the dial to resume. Is there something I need to do to get it to wash without my intervention?

    Yes, ask the landlord to get an expert in to fix it (see below) as it may be a faulty valve or timer (to name but two possibilities).

    Best don’t attempt repairs yourself on someone elses machine 😉
