Sue
It’s possible that the water container switch has become jammed, or that the bottle and/or pipes have become clogged
:plug:
Pull the plug if you go to have a look to see if there are any blockages.
If you want professional help try Repairs@ for a local engineer.
I have also deleted your duplicate post 😀

You can do it with out removing drum you only need to remove 8 screws maybe 10 if you remove the top to get it out 15 mins tops.

Before you take the machne to pieces, check that there is not a blockage in the valve at the back of the water bottle. The valve is in two pieces, one attached to the bottle itself with small plastic clips and the other part is at the back of the machine held by two screws. You will need a long magnetic tip pozi screwdriver. Watch for sharp edges! I’ve got scars to prove you can’t do it with a short screwdriver.

We’ve every confidence in you Sue
So once you’ve put it back together it’ll be back to square one I guess? Not heating and Empty Water light glowing faintly I suspect? In that case it may well be the actual timer at fault (heater contact burns out inside timer) 🙁

here i am again, i have given up on the creda dryer, i been very lucky and had a small wind fall , i decided to buy the best condenser dryer i could find,so i bought the miele t234c im very proud to own such a machine, they say its he rolls royce. the only trouble is now i have noticed that my service washing machine is not taking in the hot water, i only notice this because the soap isnt being washed away in the soap tray, so i been pouring hot water on to it after the cold water has gone in to melt the soap powder, i promise not to take the machine apart this time sue can you help???

Depending on the programme Sue, it may or may not take hot water – most 40c progs are cold fill only. First thing to do is ensure that the water is running through the correct slot in the drawer. The water is directed by a steering mechanism on top of the soap box. This may need adjusting.
Pop up the model number for more exact info – starts M—- under the pump flap or on a label around the door opening.Regards,
