hotpoint wma

    hi guys went to the usual wma ,no motor action ,did test .that showed motor o/c,tacho fault.played around with loom where they rub concrete,no breaks ,but started working ,went 4 two weeks now stopped again,any help,thanks richard.

    It could be anything in all honesty, and the usual suspects need checking out of course. The fault is not indicative of any specific failure so Motor, Module, wiring etc are all questionable at this stage I’m afraid. 🙁

    If you can be a little more specific and give us the model number as well, I’m sure we can help further 🙂

    Remember, you can get a complete motor to module wiring harness for just over £3.00. part number 1603396. I always carry one with me as they are so inexpensive.

    I’ve had a few ‘dry joints’ on modules for WMA’s. Causes no motor action.
