Hi
I have a washing machine and a dishwasher, both waste hoses went into a waste pipe which has since become blocked. I am trying to put off fixing this until after xmas.
In the meantime the dishwasher hose is attatched to a spur coming off the trap under my sink and the washing machine is hooked over the sink when we need it.
I have searched all my local DIY/Plumber merchants for somthing that would join the two hoses together so they both can feed the spur coming off the trap. So far I have had no joy and wondered if anybody on this forum could help.
I am aware that there is the danger of backwash down to whatever appliance isn’t being used but have spotted oneway valves suited for waste hoses in B&Q.
Does anybody know of a supplier of a ‘T’ (or ‘Y’) connector for waste hoses?

I don’t know how much room is under the sink on the outlet but you can get a self boring dual waste kit, not the perfect solution to be honest but an option.

Is there a picture anywhere, I can guage if I have the room. Does it just clamp round the pipe coming down from the plughole and then screww itself in through the side? Easy for an amature to fit?This is really only a temporary fix but if it gets me sorted until the new year it might be the perfect solution.
