ParticipantHi,
I was rudely woken in the night last week by a beeping noise it was the fridge freezer, I thought I must have left the door open so I pushed al the doors closed and did a “hard reset” all has been well until last night when again I was awoken by the beep ! I attempted the same procedure as above and went back to bead only for it to happen again a few hour later the hiatus of this is the freezer compartment will not freeze not even cool the fridge is cool but not cold any ideas with thanks

I would try a complete defrost first of all and see if that clears any possible overicing causing poor air circulation.
If that doesn’t work, it’s engineer time to be honest as this is an electronically controlled frost free unit and this could be caused by any number of components failing.
Check the repairs@ link below if you need an engineer 😀

Hi
Got the engineer round today the fault was on the compressor starter and now have to wait another 4 days to get them back to fit it ! 🙁

Hi,
With the onslaught of Xmas I need this fridge freezer to be working, I have had a look around on the web but cannot find anyone selling these start relays I gather I can use a hard start unit, to be honest I think that was what was fitted (the original had a large cap on the network) I am no stranger to working with all sorts of voltage so if anyone can give any advice on a suitable replace it would be appreciated..
Thanks

7 different versions of this model, oh Pink Spotty one. Please post up the pnc number starting “928********” and I’ll see if I can narrow it down for you.

Genuine part number 226 02 09-01/6 at around £20 inc VAT plus carriage. Only available from Electrolux though (3-5 working days).
Generic compressor starting devices are not recommended 😉
To be honest, even if you ordered one off the web it wouldn’t come any faster than the engineer returning with the correct part I wouldn’t have thought ?
