siemans fridge freezer problem

bosch ,siemans,ect,sensor problems, e.g bypassing faulty sensors.bypassing fridge sensor and reconnecting wires 1 and 2 worked on one model but what about other models with different p.c.bs/sensors how many variations are there ,does it depend on the enr number or pcb number. any ideas would be gratefully received.
