ParticipantHi may be the wrong place for this query so appologies if it is.
After trying several specialist kitchen / DIY shops I’ve got nowhere trying to get some of those little plastic ‘slides’ that fix the outer cupboard door to the appliance door. In my case at the mo’ it happens to be a fridge/ freezer I want them for.Everywhere I’ve been I get the same answer. “We dont sell em. They’re called hinges (even though there not) and they should come with the appliance” They look like little bits of curtain track with sliding blokes that screw to the appliance doors.
Makes you wonder why we still have all these shops ?
Anyway, fridge freezer I want them for, not that it should matter is a Beko 944. Which of course wont come with any as Not normally a -built-in appliance but still.
Question really is, are these little plastic screw on slides available anywhereDecember 21, 2005 at 8:55 am #158574kwatt
KeymasterThey will be appliance specific believe it or not, they are not a standard item and I don’t know if Dave will get them with that info.

I’ve supplied these before but as Ken says they aren’t generic but, go in to your local MFI and have a look at the fridges/fridge/freezers and find one that looks like it will do the trick. Take the model number and post it back here, that way I can order them for you from there 😉

Hi Dave,
Had a look over the fridges to pick a model as suggested.
Went on boxing day last week which I thought would make it easier to poke around abit. See what you mean now with different styles but most tend to suit the corners of square cornered doors, where mine are rounded. Another thing is that where they have only one slide per door, the fit seems very bad. So I’d prefer two per door if pos.
However one or two are fixed on the front of the doors which should work for me.
The best I could see were on a fridge / freezer Mod no’ AHP6012 but listed in catalogue as APM6012.If thats not available there is another which may do as has metal ends (I can bend a bit). That one is APM6855.
many thanks for info.

It looks like one plastic part and one metal part to make up a “pair” from the diagram.
They are £4.40 each part inc VAT (4 parts required ?) plus carriage.
I can easily order if required, drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 🙂
