    Hi folks, typical timing by a piece of essential hardware.
    My Diplomat ADP8322 dishwasher has gone on the blink just before Christmas.
    Runs for a short time(or what appears to be most of the programme if I unplug it and then reconnect) then it goes back to rinse programme and bleeps & flashes for 4 times recurring.
    I have read in an earlier posting it may be a drainage problem but everything seems fine, line definately clear.
    It has been on the 65 deg programme for 2 years until 2 nights ago when I put it on prewash as some tomato ketchup covered plates were put in. Is it coincidence that it has gone wrong?
    I have just unplugged it and restarted on Rapid programme and all seems fine but I expect it all to turn pear shaped in the next few minutes.

    Any help gratefully received. (good job the appliance is integrated or we would need to call a glazier 😕 )

    F4 (or 4 flashes) on this Whirlpool manufactured dishwasher is a drain related problem as you say.

    I wouldn’t have thought the ketchup would have caused any problems to be honest but there may be a blockage elsewhere.

    If the outlet is clear then it’s internal, I would ask an engineer to check to be honest if you’re not happy with uninstalling it, try the repairs@ link below.

    Thanks for the mega quick reply, just us the damn thing started beeping again at the end of the Rapidwash cycle.
    It is possible to remove and check the drainage system further but as the system is draining properly or appears to be then……….. ahaa
    When the machine is switched on it normally pumps out immediately? Can’t say I noticed it earlier, does this indicate something minor/major/(hopefully inexpensive) I’m Scottish!!!

    It could be a number of things really, blockages (as mentioned), pump failure, poor/broken connections, PCB failure 😕

    Engineer time perhaps ? 😉

    Thanks for the suggestions. As machine is washing ok when I can get it to start I think pump can be eliminated meaning it will either be pcb or a connection. Out of my league with either, will call engineer and post his findings.

    Not necessarily. The pump could be stalling or have an obstruction which only sometimes catches.

    How long is the drain hose on your dishwasher?

    Hi, I have checked hose length and it is the standard one supplied approx 4 ft long.
    A couple of days ago I tried the 50deg programme and it had done the last couple of loads no probs at all. Does this indicate a temperature sensor fault or is it just luck! Where is sensor and is it difficult to change?
