Zanussi 1397W Noisy drum – repair or replace?

    Our 7yr old Zanussi 1397 has given stirling service but has now developed noise whilst the drum is turning. It’s not something scraping, but more of bearing noise.

    Is this an expensive repair? Or should we look for a new machine soon?

    If you use the search facility on the subject of Zanussi bearings you will so enough find plenty written on the subject.

    In summary though, it could be a costly repair depending on the severity of wear already taken place within 🙁
