schreiber model apm6855 fridge problem
this unit is a fridge freezer from mfi in a wooden cabinet so to speak.
the freezer has always worked. it is frost free.
the gas is r600a.
the light in the fridge works and always has.
the fridge display shows h for high temp i guess , the freezer is fine.
if i turn off the whole unit for a night, then sometimes the fridge will start to come good again for a coupe of days (maybe)
ventillation i believe is fine.
basically the fridge is at 15 deg c and does not get cold. i hang a thermometer inside to tell me this.
it failed after 13 months, life sucks sometimes! 😡Re: schreiber apm6855 fridge problem
You have a defrost problem by the sound of it.
Engineer time to be honest with this model as it is electronically controlled and requires specialist test equipment.

I don’t have the spec on this model (as far as dimensions go) but replacing an integrated fridge/freezer is never easy I’m afraid especially if you need to match the door sizes.
A repair is normally the best option, I guess from the dates between the posts an engineer has attended and recommended a replacement ?
