ModeratorJust spoken to this customer on the phone, going tomorrow. I have talked him through the procedure to clear ‘TEST’ but he is unable to get the display to revert to normal. Anyone had this problem?

Hiya, I have had that, The customer has pressed on/off and start at the same time. Easy to reverse, just do the same.

I think this is right For ” Test ” on WF range hold in start/ cancel for five secs.then press on/off and start together
Display will then show d off.Customer may need to try several times to get it to reset.

There are already several posts in the public forums on this fault and a post in the error codes.
I have talked the customer through the reset procedure to no avail. He did seem to understand my instructions and tried three or four attempts whilst I was on the phone without success.
I am going tomorrow to lay on the magic finger. 😉 😀
BTW Don, I used to use that avatar for many years on another forum I frequent, with the tag line above it saying “Crackin post Gromit” 🙂

You’re not joking, just been this morning and it took six or seven attempts plus removing the plug to clear te5t. Pathetic little buttons that you have to push almost through the facia to get any response.Still a nice quick earner to ease me back into the daily grind. 🙂
