Hello – I’ve found this forum via Google and it never ceases to amaze me how many helpful people there are out there!

My question I think is simple – I have ‘inherited’ a Hygena Turbo De Luxe in my new house and I cannot phathom what options are on the selector, as the dial has worn away.

All I can see on the dial is a few worn squares.

Having read around other posts I note the model number would be useful but the unit is built in, so getting at the back of the unit is practical.

Anyway this is what it looks like:

Dark brown in colour, electric with fan assist.

    Left hand side:

Digital clock with 5 buttons underneath:
    – Timer (a bell)
    – (a pot cooking)
    – Stop (a pot)
    – (a hand)
    – A knob

    Right hand side:

    Selector knob with 7 settings

    1 – off
    2 – ?
    3 – ?
    4 – ?
    5 – ?
6 – I know this one turns the oven on with fan as it’s marked with tippex
    7 – ?

Regulator knob with ‘0’, what looks like a bell, then numbers up to 220.

I’d be really happy if I knew how to put the grill on so I can make a really nice cheese and ham toastie.

    Thanks in advance!

I think 7 may be the grill to get your toastie done 😀

Without the model number we’re a bit stumped I’m afraid as Hygena have many models manufactured by various factories.

If it’s just the numbers runbbed off the knobs they shouldn’t be too pricey.

Check around the door for the model, or sometimes it’s on the roof (slide out of unit slighty).

    Dave.
