    My fridge freezer is onlya few months old and has developed a most annoying problem. The door alarm frequently goes off even when the door is properly closed. Recently the problem has got worse – the Samsung website is very helpful (not), advising to close the door when the alarm goes off. Wish I had thought of that. The damn thing is now waking me up at night.
    How can I disable the alarm for now as it will be a while before an engneer will call. Please help before I go completely nuts.
    The fridge freezer is otherwise working fine. 😡

    Have you got any extra heavy containers in the door shelves pulling the door down away from the switch by any chance (it’s not unheard of ;)) ?

    Nothing unusual Dave, but thanks for the reply – I will take something out to see if it makes a difference anyhow.
    Is the switch you are talking about the same one as controls the internal light? I am thinking maybe I could just tape the switch up. What do you think ❓

    It would prove the point I guess if you left it for a while 😉

    Worth a go I think overnight anyway and see what happens.
