My tumble dryer (Hotpoint TDC32) has stopped heating up, The drum goes round and everything else is ok, I have defluffed and emptied all the water and cleaned every filter but still no heat.

I have got an engineer coming round tomorrow (one who comes highly recommended and charges no call out) but just wondered if it is going to be expensive to fix. If it was I was going to just buy a new tumble dryer been looking at a new bosch one.

    What would people suggest?

By the way hubby took the back off the mahine and it had like an element thing and that wasnt heating up so think that was the problem.

It’ll almost certainly be the thermostats, not an expensive repair diva 😀

Usually thermostat failure – replacement kit is 1701583, ssp £12.95, plus the hour for your engineer.
