    It’s old, very old 😯 it will take in water to do a prewash but then when it comes round to actually washing, no water seems to be going in to it, but it seems to be getting warm.

    Have had a look in the manal and it recommends: checking the water is on (yip, it is) check the inlet hose is not kinked (nope, it’s not) and check the filter (have checked the filter and cleaned it, it seems fine)

    Any advice please??

    The hose connecting the fill chamber to the sump across the bottom of the machine will almost certainly be choked with detritus.

    Power off if investigating or click the link below for a local engineer.
