ParticipantI have an electric tricy Bendix multi cooker (s1520). The top oven works ok, however the main oven cuts out after about 10 minutes. This problem occurs on all of the cooking options, ie fan, conventional oven any idea what might be the problem?

I would think it will be the thermal cut-out, but there may be an underlying cause.
Pretty straightforward fault to remedy normally, check the repairs@ link below 😀

Going to need the pnc number, Millie – there are 4 versions of this machine. Also worth noting that the oven appears to have 2 thermal cut-outs, so you’ll need to identify which one has failed. Power off, of course.

There should be a rating label somewhere around the front of the machine – it’ll say SI520 on it and have a code number starting with 9…….
That’s the one we need.Regards,

Does part number 311246901 mean anything?

It would if it had the check digit at the end, in other words, the last digit is missing.

It has a digit missing. Please, just tell us which version you’ve got and we’ll sort it for you.

The front of the cooker only says S1520. It’s a white cooker, bought in February 1995, is there any other way that i can identify if it is just White or Edition 5 (White), or did they just have 1 model 10 years ago?
