ParticipantCan anyone help, I’ve got an Indesit WAG120 that keeps filling with water until it starts to empty out of the detergent tray onto the floor 🙁
It’s only 14 months old, so is out of warrantee but not old enough to throw out.
If I turn of and then on again and set the dial to empty, it will empty ok, so I guess its not the pump.
Also when I turn it on again the red light flashes three times ❓ , whats that all about.
I’ve checked the filter and cleaned out the detergent tray but it still likes to flood the laundry, I guess it may be the water sensor, but where is it located?
I’ve removed the top (power off), but can’t spot any tell-tail problems…
All help would be so much appreciated.

Basics are check pressure switch function (click/click) and also that the air hose is actually attached to the switch. Power off, of course. Beyond that, the electronics are the most likely culprit. in which case it’s time for pro help.

We can’t tell you exactly how to repair the appliance, only offer some guidance. If you aren’t sure what you’re doing, click the link below for a UKW engineer.

Thanks for your help,
Spoke to the engineer, he suggests we buy a new one 🙁
he explained, The model is a cheeper machine (£300 and only 15 months old!), the repair will more than likely be to the replace the ECU @ £100 and call out.
Thanks Indesit ❗ ❗
The drum might make a nice flower pot….
Thanks for your help, what should I buy next ❓
