Know its been asked before but is a drum bearing change an easy option on this direct drive model and what exactly do you need to change?

hi Mark
to me its just as easy if not quicker than a zanussi bearing change,
if its the half tub version (i dont have the exploded diagram at home) and just like a hotpoint WM series if its a tub front job.Hope that helps.

Yes Mark,
I agree with bob it is quicker than Zanussi and about the same as WMA, you can do just bearings and seal or rear half tub, bearings are dearer than Zanussi.The direct drive motor pulley off and the 6 bolts that hold the rotor on not the ones that go round the metal back plate.
