    Just visited a customer with a Servis fridge, model number – M7650-6S
    the fridge was icing up on the back wall.
    I fitted a VL1 stat , is this the correct stat?
    The old stat was a danfoss – 526012802 – 077B6229 0721.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Nope, wrong stat, it should be a VT9 for a larder fridge.

    What is VL1 used for? a larder fridge with freezer conpatment?

    A VL1 or VC 1 is for a standard fridge with icebox yes 🙂

    The term “larder fridge” is generally associated with fridges with no icebox.
