ParticipantI’m about to have a new kitchen installed and am at the stage of deciding which appliances to go for. As I already have a Hotpoint washer/dryer and fridge freezer (both of which have been excellent so far) I only need the following: electric hob, electric double oven, dishwasher.
For the oven, I am trying to decide between a Firenzi FDO900, a Neff U1422, or a Zanussi ZDQ595. From my research it seems that the Zanussi offers more for the money than the Neff, but is it a ‘good’ product? Are Firenzi a brand to be trusted?
The hob I am considering is a Neff T4343 (induction hob). Any good? Would a Hotpoint or Zanussi be a better bet for an induction hob?
Finally, as part of the kitchen package we are being offered a ‘free’ dishwasher which is the Hotpoint BFI1620. However, as a Neff S4443 is comparable cost-wise, I was wondering which to go for?
I’d really appreciate any advice regarding the products/brands mentioned or any other general advice regarding kitchen appliances.

For all options stick with the one beginning with “N” 😉

What sort of reputation do Firenzi products have? I’d never heard of them until our kitchen designer mentioned them.

Firenzi don’t actually manufacture, it’s merely a brand name.
Depending on the product, it’s either made by Electrolux, Whirlpool or Bosch generally.

Firenzi is brand name off Magnet. And never manufactured by Bosch.
You wont go wrong with any of the brands you have shortlisted. So much so that you need to think about what you want from the product,Do they meet your needs? If so. Go for the best value for money i.e. features and benefits for money.Edit! And Im guessing by the dates that you’ve made your mind up already on the purchase since it was January!! Doh!
