    I’m after one of them brown relays that stop the machine from starting, they are situated near the on/off button. I’m not familiar with HP, but I assume it is that that needs replacing, any idea on price and where to get one from please?

    1701624 fits most condensor dryers, but a model number is needed to make sure 😛

    There are a few types, ome with single pole switch some with double. Should be in or around a tenner trade. Can get cheaper ones off RS if you look.Check the start pushbutton & door switch as well as i’ve had these fail often if filter isn’t cleaned regularly the contacts get fouled with dust & fluff.

    Thanks so far, the model is TDC 6A and it’s branded as a proline.

    Can anyone tell me a good place to pick one of these up in Preston or surrounding area? Connect is 5 quid deliver on top of the 13.75.
