Diplomat ADP8224

    Been to this Diplomat D/W ADP8224 Cleared pump error code
    E7, now fills & emptys 3 times then stops with error E9 (pause
    in test programme,) is this stuck in a test prog, How do i clear
    it Please Steve

    Its a blocked pressure chamber or the little pipe that connects it to the sump under the flap, if fitted. remove the rh side panel and the air break/pressure chamber can easily be removed. The pipe that is blocked runs through the salt container (but not part of it) Search on here for a E2 fault as its pretty much the same, if you are really unlucky, it can also indicate circ pump impellor problem.

    Thanks but i have allready cleared the emtying problem

    i seem to be stuck on test prog E9 i need to clear this Steve.

    I didnt say anything about draining! its the filling part thats blocked. to clear, with door open, switch on and hit the programme button 4 times quickly, then switch off and re try.

    also if it still has the flap valve..take it of and throw away….
    lesser of two evils….
    1st flap valve gets stuck with grease etc??? remove it &
    2nd food particles enters hose /tank??? job for new tank in a few months

    1st remedy does work,,,,downside food etc entering tank….
    MFI engineers have been doing this for years, so if its good enough for them??
    also new tank kit comes with modified anti flood etc….tank looks smaller but does fit…
