I have a Miele Comfort Line W957 washer.
I fails early in every program and flash the lamp that in English would be “Rinse 1-2” (I guess).

Can I see what this error code means anywhere?

I hope that anyone can give me a clue. Thanks. 😳

    Hi Carlos
Flashing rinses 1-2 indicates no motor/ drum action
The fault is normally the carbon brushes in the motor worn. Hope this helps. Clayside

    Right on spot!
    THANKS Clayside. 😀

I turned that big lady upside down. And one of the carbon brushes was totally worn down.

I have just ordered a new set online for DKK 249,- (~23,- GBP).
So I expect my girl to be spinning again in a few days. 8)

Oh dear, not the best thing to do, by all means tilt, lean, lay on correct side dependant on model, but never turn completely upside down. 😥

There is always a residue of water that can run into all sorts of places that it should not if you turn it over. drum can also come of its mountings.

    He’s right you know…….

What you should do is open the front of the machine, undo two bolts and drag the motor out……. Putting the belt back on can be a bit entertaining, but it is by far the simplest (and safest) way.

    Sorry about that. 😳
Of course I did NOT literally turn my washer upside down. That was just a figure of speak. 😆
I just tiltet it 45 deg. to the left side so that I could remove the bottom plate and get to the motor.
