    Hi All,
Hope someone can help with a Smeg Dishwasher that refuses to complete a wash cycle. Rinse and Empty work fine, but on a complete cycle it stops about 2 thirds through (Just before drying phase?) and remains full of hot water.
The lights on the front door all light up steady.
All plumbing has been removed and cleaned out with little gunge removed. (Thanks for the previous posts guys)
2 pressure sensors have continuity and no continuity when operated. Float operated switch also has continuity.
Sorry about the lack of component names!

P.S. Can’t seem to find a model number – Any ideas?

    Hi
The drain pump could possibly be jamming when the water is hot??
Model number will be on r/h edge of stainless door inner (sticker) just to give us more to go on. 😉

    Thanks for that Greg,

Its a Type 11043 and the Model is DWD63SSE.
I am assuming the drain pump is on the bottom right hand side front when facing the front of the dishwasher, attached directly to the sump, clipped in and held on with one screw!
To test this would I have to watch for a supply voltage throughout a cycle and see the voltage continue when the pump stops?

    Hope this helps

Live testing of any components cannot be advised on this site for obvious reasons, even though it may be the most practical.

Stripped door down to access control panel to check boards for wetness, dry joints etc and found nothing.
Rebuilt and now all is OK – For the time being!!! 🙄
