Flooded due to jammed impeller (peanut…). All cleaned out and draining fine now. However – it now appears to be only capable of draining (runs continuously on drain) and no new water appears + fault code F on display – Help !

Could be that the float switch in the base has stuck, so machine still thinks its flooded. Although a jammed drain pump shouldn’t cause a flood.

May be base is still full of water, unplug and tilt the machine to one side or backwards to see if you get any water draining out.

Thanks – I will tilt (isolated from the mains) tonight and report back here !

The flood was caused by a peanut jamming the impellor so over a full cycle there was no water draining out and the level rose above the lower door seal.

If the drain pump fails, normally the machine will not take in any more water. If you do find water in the base and the machine then runs I would suggest keeping a close eye on it for the next couple of washes.

Thanks – fantastic result – all working now !

    – Moved dishwasher from under counter top
    – About 10 mm water visible in sump by impeller (fine) and everything else had been pumped out when the impellor was freed
    – Tilted machine forward about 45 degrees
    – Water poured out of the base of the machine (as suggested above)
    – After mopping up, the error code “F” on the display cleared
    – Cycles worked as normal (two last night)
