    Hi,

    I have a NEFF S5543X1GB/13 integrated dishwasher. The soap dispenser is faulty and sometimes doesn’t open. Also the lid for the dispenser is a bit warped and doesn’t fit its track very well.

    Can anyone tell me if I can fix this myself? I have found a parts list, and can buy the lid and release mechanism from BSH Appliance Care for about £20. But I don’t know if that will fix it, or if the problem is internal to the dispenser. I don’t have the special tools reqd to take the door apart. If necessary I will call out an engineer but I would rather fix it myself if it is just a case of replacing the lid and the release.

    Replacing the lid and the release part will nearly always solve the problem 🙂

    ‘power off when going in please’ – Does this mean you have to take the door apart, or can these parts be replaced from the outside?

    The outer door panel has to be removed!
