    I have an Ariston Margherita 2000, Model No: AL88D. I have tried everything to get the door open without success. Washing is still in the machine.

    Checked the filter for blockages.
    Went through 3 extra cycles.
    Took the top off the machine and tried to manually open it.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Either the door handle/latch has snapped or the interlock has failed (may have underlying cause).

    The model number isn’t showing up though, can you check please unless it’s a non UK model.

    Please remember to pull the plug if you take a look inside again :zap:

    The model number is correct and was purchased in Dubai.

    Is there any way to get the door open as the washing has been in there for 2 days and there is no way to get a service engineer for at least 2 days due to the Eid holidays in Dubai.

    We are contually running it through a cycle to reduce the smell on the wet washing.

    I can’t tell which sort of door this model has but assuming it’s the same as most other Ariston’s then apart from phsically forcing the door, there is no easy way I’m afraid 🙁

    i have this model al88d
    every time use prgram no 8 its short for clean
    and the dry the best prgram in 5 in sun picture put every time for 100 mints so it wil dry all clothes

    not put tooo mutch clothes in side it only 3 kg cus after with water it will be more than 3kg
    ihope i answer some off ur question s
