Do you mean you are trying to still get the wheels off?
If so they are being held by a `claw` (part of the wheel moulding) and are quite strong. If you can imagine when they are assembled you just align this claw with the axle and give it a whack with the flat end of your fist and, `pop`, on it goes.
To disengage this claw needs a resonable bit of leverage and courage 😯 . I use two chunky, biggish long shanked flat bladed screw drivers. I force them down close to where the wheel clips on but 2-3 inches apart then jerk them away from the body to `pop` the wheel off. You can then get at the screws. Plain sailing after that 🙂 .
