    Yes lads this is the second for the day.

    Sharp M/Wave, mod R-957 (slm) s/no- 31221298
    when you set cook timer, wether it be for 1 min or 10 mins, the timer runs down to exactley 59 seconds then cuts off. press cook button imiediatly again sets off and heats, times down to another 59 secs and does the same, you can do this reapeatadly over the 10 min period, till finally it runs down out of time.
    checked connections etc, all ok, Me think’s the main pcb panel??. or does anybody out there know different. will be glad to hear from you.

    Not well up on Sharp but a certain make we do have Magnatrons in which the ferrite rings crack causing similar fault. Remove and just look for any cracks in it, they are blatently obvious.

    Hi Tell

    One of two things will cause this fault.
    Normally it`s a faulty thermistor but also check the damper motor is operating correctly.
