ParticipantThis machine had a blocked pump and the customer reported LEDS flashing. After clearing the pump the prewash light flashes and the board will not take any command.Beko service tell me the board can be reset with a series of commands, but will only offer to send an engineer. Can anyone help?Apparantly an engineer from Beko fixed it once when in guarantee by pressing certain touchpads-EASY!

Prewash lamp is always the board gone – cheap enough, £48 from SEME from memory.
Unless it’s the prewash option lamp flashing – that one means the child lock is set.
Cheers,

Dunnit make you sick? Another good reason for having a call out minimum charge. If you did this on a “free estimate” basis then you’ve gone to all that trouble for nada, nil, zilch. At least if your call out is £20 then they are faced with “only another £68 and we’re there”.(Based on £40 + £48 part). I looked it up it’s £41 something +vat with Seme = £48 total. Why not see if EMW or QER can fix it or have a re-con in stock? Or what about a request in “Classifieds” forum. Could be somebody’s broke one up recently. Last resort e-bay(bit unlikely but you never know).
If they’re dumping it, at least have the motor. Another UKW member told me he bought a Beko motor on e-bay this morning.
