    Hi,

    I have a Neff oven B-AP22-7 195311060
    E Nr B1430N0GB 702
    FD 7806

    The fan has stopped working on this oven (or is only working incredibly slowly) and the oven is not heating properly, however the element seems to be working ok. The fan can be turned by hand freely and is not sticking.

    from other posts on this site, it sounds like the fan motor is gone – is this correct?

    If so, is it possible to order a new part (or even to get the motor reconditioned)?

    look forward to hearing from you, as we have a leg of lamb waiting to be roasted!

    Thanks a lot!

    Update, however – the fan has now decided to start working again, properly this time. Should I just replace it anyway?

    As you can imagine, I’d rather not have the expense of sticking a new fan motor in, but if it is stopping and starting, the element may also go, right?

    It can damage the element yes, personally I would replace it 😉
