    You know what they say about never doing things in a hurry? Just got a replacement timer board for the A1435 (programmer knob goes round all time) and now I notice that some of the connectors are interchangeable.

    Board is marked “AristonFE”. It’s also known as A1435 Mk1

    Should have marked them when I took them off but made the assumption they were all polarised.

    Cable form helps but I can interchange CNE and CNF

    OK, no need to tell me what I’ve done wrong – but can anyone help me to fix it? One connector has black wires in it, the other is all red. I’m guessing the connector with black wires is CNE. Can anyone confirm this please?

    Read the wires themselves very carefully – they are marked with position and connector letter.

    For future readers – diagram first, then pull the cables!
