    Hi

Before I dive out and buy a replacement mt washer dryer has stoped doing its sipn cycle.

The motor is not getting up to speed. The control knob still turns.

Is there something I can check . It would be a shame to retire it after 10 years of flawless service

    Thanks

    Dave

This could be a sludge blockage in the pressure vessel due to no boilwashes carried out or module failure. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself, or look at Repairs@ for an engineer to diagnose.

Turned out to be the module 🙁

Fortunatly it was just one soldered joint gone that I could repair. 😀

I’m not sure what the component is but it was raised off the main curcit board with longer ( 15mm ) heat insulated wires. After testing the spin I noted that the component was hot to touch so I guess it had heat affected the soldered joint over the years
