I’ve 2 , got another when the pins got busted they gave me another then came out with part n/o for new pins kept the other in case i fly the nest, which i can see coming shortly if they dont buck up their ideas and treat us and customers etc with a bit more respect, incidently i dont know how they can justify £130 for a pcb a couple of flashing lights and suspect brass pins that you look at the wrong way and they bend and give you dodgy contacts.

Surely you are mistaken, I have just read issue 3, December 2005 of ‘In Service’ 😉 😆
I quote from the Service Director, Franco Secchi, ” We have endeavoured to change our organisation in order to better support the strategy of Indesit Company in the UK. However it has been a year in which we have markedly improved our level of service by focusing our attentions on the consumer through our decisions and actions.”
A service call 10 to 12 days later is not what I would call ‘markedly improved’. 😥

I think I am right in saying that we cannot do a test program without one of these. Jhonnyj, you are right, £130 is a bit steep but its true to form for Indesit. With a bit of luck we may see a copy part come onto the market.

Yes if you plug in and press test if there was a fault it will show last fault detected helps a little you can also connect up to emit usb port and run wash doctor bring up diagnostics and you can see all the programes fault codes out of bal loads etc that have occured or selected with the machine, but it aint fullproof by any stretch off the imagination.

Hmmm, I remember the days, you connect the plug, via a usb cable to emit and you get…………….No Connection! It’s good on its own though for auto test, thats all i used to use it for. Oh, and I can recomend a good source to get a plug…………………. flag down a van 😳 , and offer the engineer £40-£50 quid for it!!!! Job Done 😉 !!!!
