Gotta go to a Hotpoint DWF40P which is faulty, customer reports that its got 1st & 3rd leds lit (from lhs) also that it pumps out as normal fills as normal no circulation then empties. Are the circulation pumps prone to problems on these & is there a capacitor in circuit? On Known Error Codes thread it says it sdifferent than most hpts codes? How do you reset?

1+3 is no circulation pump, not had one fail on me yet. Motor is capacitor run (5 uF)
Reset will only work correctly after the fault has been cured.
With machine OFF, turn the selector knob to the RESET position and switch ON. after a few seconds all the lights should go out enabling a new programme to be selected.
