i had to call up the local spares wholesaler this afternoon and spoke to the guy who runs it.
i’ve not spoken to him for a while, so i said, ” hi peter how are you?”
he said, ” hey goatboy!”
i said, “what?”
he said, “goatboy!”
i said, “eh?”
he said, ” you’re called goatboy!”
i said, “i’m not!”
he said, “well somebody told me you were!”
i didn’t know whether to be flattered to be confused with a person half my age, or miffed to be called a goat!he wasn’t kidding either, thought i’d get that in before someone else! 😆

He does my area first thing Monday morning. He turns up with a van full of spares, which is very handy. I usually get to see him 9ish, and stock up on paper bags, sundries, cooker elements, etc.
I can’t believe he doesn’t know I’m Goatboy 😈 I’ll have some fun with him on Monday!
